First I lightly sketch out the basic outline, then I just fill in with lots of little dots. The more detailed the piece the more complicated it gets to consider shading, and even the simple pieces take a lot of patience, but it's fun.

awesome! I find Microns work best, but you can also use fine point Sharpies, you should just go a little slower to avoid dashes and be careful not to press too hard or the dot bleeds.
